Timmy Turner

There is a young man from Indonesia staying with my son Ryan, wife Jen and their son Colby, his name is Dede. Timmy and Ryan met him in Indo on one of their first trips.

Everytime they would go back to Indo they would see Dede. They would bring him clothes, surfboards and things that they thought he needed. Dede is now sponsored by Rip Curl and gets to travel to the United States on a working visa.

Dede from time to time helps out Ryan and Jen and will watch Colby. Tuesday morning he was watching Colby they were both up early before the sunrise. Dede decided to show Colby the sunrise he got on top of the roof and he and Colby watched the sunrise. We do not question Dede how he got up there with Colby we know that he would never put him in harm.

The point I am trying to make is Dede does not come from much but to him that does not matter. Watching the sunrise and set is what matters to him. We all need to think about the sunrise a little more instead of all the material things. Timmy has always been a person who watches the sunrise and appreciates it. Last year when Timmy and I went to Indo we would get to the highest point on the boat and him and I would watch the sunrise. It was always a beautiful moment and always but my life in perspective.

Thank you Dede for reminding me to watch a sunrise and to be thankful that I can still watch sunrises with Timmy.

I love you Dede.

Love, Timmys Mom (AKA Michele)
